What is the role?

The Senior Business Partnerships Manager within our Applied Sciences team is accountable for substantially increasing revenue through the sponsorship of our in-silico solutions. You will develop new opportunities across industry sectors and geographical regions. You will be able to coach and mentor your Business Partnership colleagues.  In this role you will be sharing expertise and working collaboratively across Lhasa in order to identify and work on new opportunities.

Your responsibilities



  • Substantially increase revenue through the sponsorship of all our in-silico solutions.
  • Has an established network of strong business relationships with prospects and proactively develops these relationships.
  • Respond to enquiries, offer advice and confidently introduce Lhasa solutions to prospects e.g., integration of our solutions.
  • Proactively promote our in-silico solutions for decision-making through scientific communication e.g., organising scientific workshops in existing and new territories, presenting at exhibitions and conferences.
  • Obtain feedback after evaluation to support the development of our solutions, identify new potential use-cases and to improve our service delivery.
  • Able to discuss bespoke solutions with prospects
  • Visible external presence demonstrating and applying our solutions, e.g., videos on website, LinkedIn etc.
  • Proactively seeks data sharing opportunities (e.g., data donation, joint publications on the application of our solutions).
  • Work closely with Marketing to drive demand, identify lead generation activities and research new opportunities and competitive threats.
  • Contribute to the development of the Growth Strategy.


Your skills and experience



  • Expert scientific communicator who understands prospect/members’ needs and has the ability to explain and demonstrate all our solutions
  • Strong understanding of chemical structures and the application of in silico solutions to decision making
  • Knowledge of toxicology, metabolism, degradation, and organic reaction mechanisms
  • Is proactive, innovative and commercially aware
  • Expert negotiator with leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently without close supervision
  • Able to influence end users and decision-makers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and sensitivity to cultural differences
  • Acts as a role model within the Applied Sciences Team and champions Lhasa values
  • Able to do a lot of travel nationally and internationally



Education and qualifications


Qualified to degree level or above in a life science subject.
