- Build and maintain a roadmap that aligns scientific value, regulatory reality, and technical feasibility.
- Own product outcomes after release – track impact and iterate to maximise value.
Discovery and scientific design
- Partner with application and research scientists to map end-to-end scientific workflows, data needs, and decision points across pharma and chemical safety.
- Translate scientific problems into well shaped opportunities, features, and testable hypotheses – with clear success metrics and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure designs uphold scientific integrity, traceability, and explainability, and consider validation and change control where applicable.
Delivery and backlog leadership
- Build a transparent backlog that balances scientific impact, risk, and effort – facilitate refinement, planning, and effective prioritisation.
- Act as voice of the customer and scientists to the team – provide clarity on the “what” and “why” to enable high quality delivery in increments.
- Build roadmaps and plan releases, ensuring the next increments are timely and value focused

Regulatory and domain awareness
- Understand the regulatory context that our members operate within and how it shapes product requirements, data quality, and evidence needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends in in silico assessment, data standards, and scientific software.
Ways of working
- Champion collaborative, outcome driven practices – support iterative delivery, lean documentation, and continuous discovery.
- Surface risks early, work with technology teams to plan delivery, facilitate trade-offs, and keep decisions visible.
- Contribute to product management standards and mentoring across teams.
