Where the world’s leading stability experts present the latest advances in stability science
We are delighted to be co-hosting the annual Science of Stability conference for the third year with FreeThink Technologies as it returns for its 10th year! The conference will be back in Europe this year on 27-29 April 2026
at the Voco Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow. Catch up on last year’s event in our blog.
The Science of Stability (SOS) Conference exposes attendees to the latest discoveries and innovations in the science of stability across different industries that include pharmaceuticals, generics, nutraceuticals, Over-the-Counter (OTC), and consumer products. It is a must-attend program for anyone interested in accelerated aging, degradation chemistry, and stability. There will be many opportunities for networking including a dedicated drinks reception and conference dinner.
Confirmed speakers so far include:
- Steve Baertschi, Baertschi Consulting, US: Forced and Confirmatory Photostability Testing in the Era of the New ICH Q1 Stability Guideline
- Jonathan Bogaerts, J&J, Belgium: Do You Know What’s Happening Inside Your Drug Product? Unraveling Solid-State Nitrosation Kinetics
- Eduardo de la Toba, Pfizer, US: Hydrogen Peroxide Stress Testing: A Systematic Evaluation of Key Experimental Parameters for Probing Relevant and Non-Relevant Oxidation Pathways
- Patrick Kelleher, FreeThink, US: Non-linear kinetics in stability studies
- Daniel Markl, University of Strathclyde, UK: Linking Powder to Tablet Stability: Mechanistic Insights to Long-Term Dissolution Performance of Immediate-Release Formulations
- Phoebe McManus, AstraZeneca, UK: Transforming Accelerated Predictive Stability Through Automation to Inform Retest Period Decisions for Starting Materials and Intermediates
