We were delighted to partner with Codurance for Software Crafters Leeds to discuss approaches to software testing and quality.
The event offered an evening of engaging discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities focused on the critical theme of software testing and quality. We hoped attendees would come away with new ideas to tackle their most pressing challenges and find a path to improving quality within their own organisations.
Rather than formal presentations, we gave everyone attending an opportunity to shape the agenda. The event was run in an “unconference” style, where participants co-created the topics to be discussed. The overall theme was “Software Testing and Quality”. Here were some of the discussion starters:
- Do we still need testers?
- What is TDD and how can it help my team?
- Is there a role for AI in testing?
- Who is responsible for quality?
- Shift Left testing — what is that and how far should we shift?
