Jack Lupton, Application Scientist
Name: Jack Lupton
Job Title: Application Scientist
I joined Lhasa in September 2022 as an Application Scientist. Before this I studied an MBiol degree in Medical Biochemistry at the University of Leeds, graduating in July 2018. As a part of my studies, I completed a research project investigating the inhibitory action of an Artificial Binding Protein on a cell signalling pathway.
Following university, I worked at Labcorp Drug Development as a Laboratory Scientist in Clinical Pathology. In this role, I conducted Haematology and Clinical Chemistry analysis for a range of Phase I Clinical Trials and Toxicology Studies, helping to support the safety assessment of numerous drugs being developed.
As an Application Scientist at Lhasa, I look forward to working collaboratively with members and supporting them in utilising Lhasa’s solutions, to help them achieve their scientific goals.
Outside of work I enjoy music, especially learning to play new songs on the piano. I also spend some free time volunteering as a first aider at a range of sporting events here in Leeds!
