Mark Nolan, Test Analyst
Name: Mark Nolan
Job Title: Test Analyst
My name is Mark and I joined the Software Testing team in September 2017.
I studied at the University of Lancaster and the University of Western Ontario for my undergraduate degree in Natural Science, then Edinburgh Napier for my Masters in Drug Design, and then I completed a PGCE in Chemistry at the University of Cumbria.
I have always had an interest in IT, trying to use as many different technologies in my teaching practice. After spending a couple of years teaching abroad in Spain, I decided to come back to the UK and pursue a new career. I started to look at jobs that combined my two interests – Science and IT, and came across an advertisement for Graduate Test Analyst at Lhasa, and the rest is history.
My role at Lhasa as a Test Analyst involves finding and reporting bugs, testing software to ensure that it is up to standard and getting involved with release activities such as alpha tests. Lhasa is a great place to work – the atmosphere here is supportive and there are many opportunities to increase knowledge.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing guitar and video games, cooking and travelling as much as I can.
