My name is Harry and I am a Sales Executive within the Sales team. I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2011 having studied Biological Sciences. My previous experience included roles within the catering, events and automotive industry. This is somewhat unrelated to toxicology and metabolism, however my scientific background, communication skills and attitude towards work are some of the major skills required in my role.
I knew that when it came to my career I wanted to work in a customer-facing role working within a developing company that was science orientated. I was keen to work in a sales role but the idea of cold-calling was something that put me off; fortunately it is not something that is done at Lhasa Limited.
My typical working day is spent dealing with prospect and member enquiries, and performing presentations and software demonstrations to companies via web-meeting software and on-site. I regularly travel within Europe and the United States visiting prospects and members, as well as attending conferences to represent Lhasa Limited. Although busy, the work is varied between different tasks and people from numerous industries, therefore it is essential that I have a good level of understanding when it comes to all of our products so that I can adapt to differing industry uses and needs.
When I’m not working, I try to relax by rebuilding and maintaining a 1990 Land Rover Defender and a 1951 Singer 4AB. I am a keen walker and spend my remaining free time happily stomping up and down hills in the North Yorkshire Moors.
