13th International Conference on Environmental Mutagens: Maintaining Genomic Health in a Changing World was held on the 27th August – 1st September 2022 at The Westin Ottawa, Ottawa, Canada.

Lhasa Director of Science, Anax Oliveira co-chaired a symposium titled ‘Developing Integrated Approaches to Testing and Assessment (IATA) Using an Adverse Outcome Pathway (AOP) Framework’. Scientist, Steven Kane presented within this session on ‘Integration of Data with Adverse Outcome Pathways (AOPs) to Support Genotoxicity Assessment’. In addition, Director of Applied Sciences, Crina Heghes presented ‘Practical Application of AOPs in Regulatory Risk Assessments’.

Principal Application Scientist, Grace Kocks, presented two posters; Using historical negative control data to review Ames test results and; Creating Genotoxicity Assay Summary Calls And Using Them To Generate New Knowledge. Grace will also be presenting; Nitrite Levels in Common Excipients, Impact on Nitrosamine Risk Assessment.

Joining the team at this event was Lhasa Senior Scientist, Robert Foster. Rob presented a poster titled ‘Toxicophore-based assessment of the predictivity of Ames strains: a data-driven approach towards strain selection in directed testing and review’, as well as a presentation ‘Undertaking expert review under the ICH M7 guideline’.
